Some events stay with you because they are beautiful. Others stay with you because they mean something. Kai’s Big GOLD Ball was both.

On Saturday 10 October 2026, we had the privilege of bringing our Infinity 360 Video Booth to Kai’s Big GOLD Ball at Crown Towers Ballroom, Crown Perth, in support of Kids Cancer Support Group. It was an evening filled with celebration, generosity and purpose, all centred on helping Western Australian children and families facing childhood cancer and blood disorders.

We were grateful to be part of such a meaningful night.

A golden evening for an important cause

Kai’s Big GOLD Ball is a signature fundraising event that raises awareness and funds for Kids Cancer Support Group, often known as KCSG.

KCSG is a Western Australian not-for-profit organisation supporting children diagnosed with cancer and other blood disorders, along with their families. Since 1983, KCSG has provided practical assistance, emotional support, connection and hope to families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

That purpose was at the heart of the evening.

The event listing included live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and raffles, bringing guests together for a night that balanced joy with generosity. While there was plenty of fun in the room, the reason everyone gathered was never far from mind.

For Perth Social Booth, being invited to provide our Infinity 360 Video Booth for this event was a genuine honour.

Guests joined us on the platform throughout the evening to capture fun, slow-motion video memories. There were smiles, spins, group moments and plenty of personality. The booth gave guests a chance to pause, enjoy the night and take home a moving memory from a special charity event.

At gala dinners and fundraisers, entertainment often works best when it adds energy without taking focus away from the purpose of the evening. That is what we love about a 360 video booth. It creates an interactive guest experience, but it does not need to interrupt the flow of the event.

Guests can step on, have a laugh, capture a polished video and return to the celebration.

Why a 360 video booth works so well at gala dinners

A 360 video booth brings movement into event memories.

Rather than a still photo, guests receive a short video that captures the feeling of the moment. The camera moves around the platform while guests pose, dance, turn, wave or celebrate together. The result is dynamic, personal and full of life.

For charity balls, gala dinners and formal events, this style of entertainment works particularly well because it suits both the setting and the mood. Guests arrive dressed for the occasion, the room is styled beautifully, and there is a shared sense of celebration. A 360 video booth helps capture all of that in a way that feels modern and memorable.

It is also a wonderful way to encourage guest interaction. Friends, families, colleagues and supporters can step onto the platform together, creating shared moments that reflect the spirit of the night.

For those searching for 360 video booth hire Perth, events like Kai’s Big GOLD Ball show how the experience can add warmth, energy and guest engagement while still respecting the significance of the occasion.

Capturing celebration while honouring the cause

We always believe entertainment at a charity event should support the atmosphere, not overshadow the reason for gathering.

At Kai’s Big GOLD Ball, the cause remained central. The evening was about supporting KCSG and the families who rely on its care, connection and practical help. Our role was to contribute to the guest experience by offering a fun and interactive way to remember the night.

That balance matters.

There is room at these events for laughter, joy and lightness. In fact, those moments often help bring people together. They remind everyone that community support is built not only through giving, but also through connection.

Seeing guests enjoy the booth, share the experience with others and create slow-motion videos together was a lovely reminder of how celebration can sit alongside compassion.

A sincere thank you

To everyone who visited our booth and had fun with us, thank you. We loved seeing you step onto the platform, relax into the moment and create memories from such a special evening.

To the organisers of Kai’s Big GOLD Ball, thank you for having Perth Social Booth as part of this meaningful event. We appreciated the opportunity to contribute to the atmosphere and be present for a night dedicated to such an important Western Australian organisation.

KCSG has supported families since 1983, and its work continues to make a real difference for children and families navigating childhood cancer and blood disorders.

If you would like to learn more about the organisation or support its work, please visit Kids Cancer Support Group.

Kai’s Big GOLD Ball was a powerful reminder that events can do more than bring people together. They can create awareness, build connection and support families when it matters most. We were proud to be there, capturing moments of joy in honour of a deeply meaningful cause.
